The criteria for The LISBI First Generation College Student Scholarship include the following:
A recipient must be enrolled full-time at a regionally accredited college or university
Pursuing an associates or bachelor's degree, preferably in the humanities/social sciences
First generation college students are considered anyone whose parent(s) or guardian(s) did not complete a degree from a U.S. college or university
Preference will be given to applicants from and pursuing a degree in Dallas County, Texas, or any of the surrounding counties.
